PowerToTheBuilder.com was created to showcase PowerBuilder's capabilities, namely in the area of GUI design and development.

Several UI controls were created to help developers create more attractive and visually appealling applications. This is most important for commercial applications. Users of computer programs do judge an application by how it looks. After all, the "look" provides the user with their first impression.

By using a few of these controls you can dramatically change the appearance of even the oldest applications. The best part is, implementation is very easy and can be done with little effort. See the Controls section on the left for complete details.

To ensure that all the controls are developer friendly I try to use them in my own applications. Doing this allows me to make sure that the controls contain all the necessary functions and events to make it as usefull and functional as possible.
