- When I run my application from PowerBuilder all I see is white where the UI Controls should be rendered. Why is this?
The PB UI Controls rely on the PBNI object canvas.pbx to render graphics. Sometimes PowerBuilder
loses track of where this file is. There are two things to do: 1) Make sure the canvas.pbx file is in the same
directory as your application PBLs 2) If the canvas is in the same directory as your applicaton PBLS, move
it to a directory that's in your PATH environment variable (e.g. the System32 folder).
- Can I deploy the PB UI Controls to the web using PowerBuilder Webforms or Appeon?
No. The PB UI Controls use the Windows GDI API to draw graphics. This technique is not supported in the browser.
- I just purchased the PB UI Controls. How do I get the source code?
After purchasing the PB UI Controls you get full access to all the source code. After your purchase goes through
you will receive a separate email from your order with a link to a download and a password for the zip file. There
could be a delay with the system that sends our the email or it may end up in your spam folder. If after several hours
you have not received this email, notify us at support@werysoft.com. Make sure to provide use with your order number.
- I see that there is a new version of the PB UI Controls. Where can I download the source?
Use the same download link that you received after purchasing the PB UI Controls. See the previous FAQ.
- Does my purchase today cover upgrades and releases for future versions of PowerBuilder?
Yes. We'll keep pushing updates to the same download location that you used to get the PB UI Controls when
you made your purchase.
