Helping to put the Power back in PowerBuilder

PBGUIControls Version 1.2.0 Now Available for PowerBuilder 11.1 .Net Winforms

February 18, 2008 21:16 by bradwery

A new version of the PB GUI controls have been released on www.PowerToTheBuilder.com for PowerBuilder 11.1 .Net Winforms. This release contains all the functionality from the previous release.

I wanted to get this release out to the public ASAP. It's still a work-in-progress. I've tested as much as I could and found a few issues. Most of these issues are minor with the exception of one. There appears to be a memory leak. I'm going to make this issue a top priority and hope to get it resolved in a short amount of time.

Just to note, the PBNI canvas object was replaced with a C# assembly (source included). If you want to look at it and offer suggestions, please do so.

I wasn't able to test this solution as a .Net Webform. I do not have IIS available. If you would like to try it please let me know how it goes. Some how I don't think it will work.

Also, I was not able to test all scenario's. If you find a bug please report it in the forums (www.PowerToTheBuilder.com/support.aspx). I'll work to get any reported issues resolved as quick as I can.

Thanks,

Brad

You can download the controls at PowerToTheBuilder.com. Select any control from the menu on the left. When the page loads click on the Download tab.

Let me know if you need anything else.

gracias
